• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We are making plans for our great adventure across America. The one thing we are really looking forward to is connecting up with other spyderlovers along the way. We will mark the quality of this trip by the people we meet.
So Irish2the max has staked out our route in detail it includes sightseeing #1 stop the largest ball of string---Trickydick is working on checking and double checking accommodations plus gas stations .
I have the most important task of all and II really need help. ----You see I have to find where we should have breakfast lunch and dinner. The list supplied by Irish shows where we will be each night. Since someone with a spyder will live near by and can suggest a dinner place it could make my job easy-----If you live half way between our next nights stay maybe you can meet us for lunch. I would like to start a log book with the who we are going to meet and where as soon as possible.
Maybe that will help with the wait.

Thanks

If I'm not busy babysitting my Grandson due to double deployments, I have every intention of making sure you two get out of the State of Missouri on the 16th. I'm not sure how many days we could handle two mischievous old guys.:roflblack:

Country Kitchen
135 W Elm
Lebanon, MO 65536

Need to get as early a start as possible since Day is out longest leg

Is 0800 too early?

Well the log book is filling up fast.

Tom in Albuquerque is going to meet up with us and has three places to pick from for lunch.

First
MoLee, Please thank your grandson for his parents service to our country. If possible we would like to have our picture taken with him.
Second
We prefer to be called elder statesmen--which means we can make bond.
Third
Lock up your mom's ----- So we don't talk them into a spyder tattoo.

You are now in the official log book.

Wild Horse Mountain BBQ on highway 59 South, 3.5 miles south of Sallisaw, OK. Their phone is 918.775.9960 Open for lunch Tue-Sun, Supper Tue-Sat. Closed Mondays

Get there early, before they run out of ribs.

Hey Mark

That BBQ in Sallisaw Ok sounds so good I would really like to go have dinner.
The only problem I see is its a littler out of the way which dose not mean we will not end up there--- just one wrong turn and Walla we're there. Lets see now its just a little west of Ft. Smith Arkansas. As I see it 100 miles south of Rt.66
Smile
There is still a chance we could end up there.

I can't wait to ready Gene's coloring (oops I mean log) book..LOL I think it will be fun to live vicariously through you guys.

Remember how time just moved so slowly when you and Brian were waiting to go to LA.
Well its the same for the three of us----
Plus when you made your trip we all checked each day looking for your up dates and pictures. When you were late we all worried, Then you came thru so everything was OK.
We are planning updates and pictures but there are three of us so far. So we should have plenty of on time updates.
All the planning doesn't make the time go by any faster.
Subway in a gas station------nutin but the best for my friends

We plan on staying at L.Wood on the 14th so that we can get an early start in the morning.

On the 14th of May our day will begin in High Ridge and end 113 miles later in Waynesville. We would like to meet THE CREW from mid-mo and visit that evening.

On the 15 we have a big day planned ----breakfast with THE CREW in Lebanon meet up with Irishman who will be visiting his brother and then our longest mileage day on the road 338 miles to OK City. An average of 9.39 mph in 48 hours.
This trip may take longer than we figured. (ohsowhat)

Watch out, it looks like the SpyderExpress rides again. What a great crew you have down there in MO.

Does your Lebanon, MO to Oklahoma City, OK route take you through Joplin, MO?
If so, a bunch of us from Northwest Arkansas could meet you in Joplin.
