• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

rough idle

:dontknow: I have had my RTs since last August. Mostly we love the bike, but it is giving us a problem with idling. It will drop down to 1100 rpm and then jump to 1800rpm+ finally stalling at 1000rpm. first happened at 1500 miles, dealer replaced spark plugs per BRP. Now at 2200 miles it is doing the same thing. Back to dealer for more help from BRP. Any thoughts on this would be helpful

Let the dealer sort it out, with help from the BRP tech folks. Too many possibilities, including bad plug wires, bad fuel, bad ECM, injector problems, venting problems, sensor issues, etc.

Poor gas. Hard to test for but if you are low you can put in some fresh fuel and see if it makes a difference. Worst case you can siphon your tank and try new gas. I had to do this and it still ran a bit rough until I burned through that tank and refilled again. My regular gas station admitted they had a few complaints.

Or you can add Stabil or SeaFoam. Can't hurt, but may not help.

:welcome:
Cracked, rotted or damaged vacuum lines or have them to do an Engine Control Module (ECM) flash. :dontknow:

I'm thinking if the spark plugs were changed , It is ''possible''? that a spark plug wire was damage and is arcing. Been there had that!!:popcorn:

Thanks for input, dealer did current updates , ordering new plug wires this week. Will be adding fuel supplement on reg basis. :cus: ethynol. Hope to get this fixed soon.

one more thing to check, I had the same symptoms and the dealer changed the throttle body, fixed it right up
