I have a 2012 RT with just over 5K miles on it.
It has been idling a bit rough for awhile and would struggle at high rpm's but not so bad
that it was not drive able.
My last trip out it would not downshift automatically into first gear
and the engine would idle and surge very rough and stall out.
Thanks to Spyder Lovers and reading these posts on the rotten hoses I checked these two vacuum lines
and as you can see in the picture one was cracked bad, the other showed no signs of cracking.
The one behind the sensor was the bad one and impossible to see unless you remove the sensor
and hose and visually inspect the line.
I replaced both hoses and took it for a test drive and what a difference.
I have been living with a poor running engine all summer.
Now it has smooth downshifts, smooth running engine, less vibration, more power, what more can I say,
It's like a new bike, I'm a happy camper.
