Rooms for the Adirondack event

When they decided to hold a rally in the Adirondacks I was happy as I'm from that area...

When I found out it was in Saranac Lake/Lake Placid, I thought to myself, man that is a beautiful part of the park.

My last thought was, man... That is way in the middle of nowhere.

So... I just barely snagged a room at a B&B in Lake Placid. Most hotels are now stupid expensive, and even some of the B&Bs are. Most places with rooms are in the boonies.

So.. If you haven't booked a room yet, you had better act now. This means you Reggy!

The Adirondacks are utterly beautiful. Far different from the smokies, and the park is larger, with less civilization. Hope to see you all there.

There are a lot of cottages and houses for rent in the area and most of them only require two nights and are cheaper then the hotels/motels in the area. We rented a 2 bedroom house for 90.00 a night. Has plenty of room and is pet friendly. Might be an idea... I wasn't going to pay over 120.00 for a motel or the comfort inn.
