BTW, there are dealerships that will be getting a police escort to the Pentagon parking lot...might not be a good way to go...kinda cool to ride with police escort...

Okay, we're two weeks away...are we going to get a group together or not? If we do, we should try to get our grubby paws on the banner...this is a big event...

Are we gonna do it or should I just drop it and do it on my own?

STILL don't have my Spyder back from the dealer. I'm hoping to make it but don't know for sure yet. Hope to know next week. I know it's frustrating trying to get a group together and I apologize not not being able to commit yet.

I can't go down there two days in a row...I am planning on doing the parade thing with the 300k bikes...that's on Sunday though...

I will be there on Saturday to meet at the Lincoln Memorial and most likely stay in Stafford that evening and return on Sunday for the parade.:doorag:

Just made a bracket for the :spyder2: That holds three flags and uses the licences plate bolts. American Flag, Support the Troops Flag and a United States Marine Flag. :2thumbs:

There's a very company that makes masts and flags and has been doing so for years. They guarantee flags. I'll post pics when I get it in this week. Two mast lengths to choose from. Plus, they have them in black to match the Spyder.

The flags I got (US and POW/MIA) are made by Rumbling Thunder and I believe these are the same ones bone crusher got. They are thick, high quality flags that are warranted for life IF you but the mounting kit.

You can get them directly from Rumbling Thunder but i got mine from Biker For Life

I got the TCM 22 kit which comes in chrome or black which was $85 if I recall

Unfortunately, I need carotid surgery which is scheduled for next Wednesday. Surgeon says no driving for a week after so it looks like I'm out.

I'm bummed!!

Best of luck on your upcoming surgery. A friend of mine just had the same, and it went great. Doctor gave him a clean bill of health in that respect for years to come. Wishing you all the same.

Awaiting mine from bikerforlife...Richard is a good guy and I'll post pics of the product...he's sending me two mast lengths to try...8.5 and 14 inches...I'll post pics of each and we'll see what looks better...
