• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rodents chose my 16 RTL as a home

The problem created by toothed residents was huge (for me!) as I got brake failure messages and low brake fluid faults along with headlights that didn't work on the right side. There we also other wires that had been destroyed, but they went to a trailer light addition which I didn't need. How in the world do I keep rodents out of the Tupperware?

I replaced a cable to the left front speed sensor on a lady friends 2017 RTL that was chewed into two pieces. Down the street from her in the Az RV Resort, another Spyder had to have the main wiring harness replaced, to the tune of thousands of dollars. I place Tap Cat's under my trikes.

There has been some previous discussion on the Forum about this.

IIRC, searching (see the top right of every page) on the word 'rodent' or 'repellent' with the 'Search titles only' box checked should bring up a few pertinent threads, check them out, have a read, see what you think of those ideas. And if that's not enough &/or you want more, simply uncheck that 'Search titles only' box and have another go. You'll likely get pages and pages more of suggestions/reading - maybe not all exactly on the sorta things you're after, but you'll find those words in there somewhere! ;)

Good luck! (y)

We discovered a mouse in our kitchen several months ago. I bought cheap mouse traps and baited them with cheese. After several days one of the traps caught the mouse. Buy two or three cheap mouse traps, bait them with cheese or peanut butter and place on the floor around your Spyder. This should take care of your mouse problem.

This is a Spyder we just took in. Not surprisingly, it has a good many serious and expensive issues.

Did they say how long and where this thing was in storage?
When you get something like this, it's best not to ask. In the end, it doesn't matter anymore. But if we fix it and they take it back to the same location... Well, you get the drift.
