Rode to the Little Apple yesterday

Beautiful day for a ride, went out 24 all the way. Visited a friend and came back, actually saw one other Spyder on the way back. Red RT, two up just west of Topeka. Got to see a lot of the preps for small town Americans prepping for 4th of July celebrations.

I went to college at Kansas State University for a couple of years, then transferred to Emporia State, both are great college towns, Emporia was much smaller, though.

Daughter went to ESU, going back for her masters this year. Best thing about small towns is it doesn't take long to get out of town.

I started my college career at Emporia, but at the time it was know as Kansas State Teachers College! I finished undergraduate and graduate school at Kansas State U.
