There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Rob's Performance

Irv Toms, let me know what you think afterward of the place.
I tried to buy my Spyder there because I always heard good things about them, but they wouldn't take my non-factory trike -Voyage/ CSC kit on trade so I bought elsewhere. They did tell me they would do my service work or sell me one if I sold mine outright though. Where I bought mine [Mad City] they don't do laser alignments plus I'm not a fan of their service department.
My riding buddy who bought his Spyder the same week as I from Engleharts in Madison [who also wouldn't take a non factory trike trade even though I bought bikes from them in the past] has always had good service and just had his laser alignement there. We are checking each others tires all the time, kinda doing a test to see how our tires wear since I haven't had mine aligned yet. I'm waiting till I need new tires. Our handling since we both put on Ron's sway bar is pretty much the same. Are mileage is always running close to the same. Rob's and Engleharts are about the same distance from me, so I will take my trike to one of them when/if I need work that I can't do. Just haven't decided who yet. Are you going for the Rally, or just for the alignment? safe riding!

Howdy Folks,
We met these Awesome Folks last year at the Spyder Rendezvous. I am in Michigan, and made an appt. for Lazer Align to be done while we were there.
Our '14 RTS is on rails now. We already had the BaJa Ron Swaybar, and Shock Adjusters on, but the alignment from Rob's was the icing on the cake.
Super Nice Folks,
Very knowledgable,
Very nice shop.....
Just my opinion😜

align. sounds like bs. no one else ever mentioned it. anyone ever heard of this ?

Yes we had both of our 2009 RS done while at the Rendezvous put on by SOAR. It was a fabulous experience. Rob's staff are great, and go the extra mile. The laser alignment will help your Spyder, Robs will make you fill like a valued customer!

Actually we cheated and took the High Speed Ferry to Milwaukee.
I forgot exactly what I was charged, but they did the belt tension and rear wheel alignment first. I got to watch the whole deal. I'm sure it was under $200, more like $135-$150...
It made a World of difference. I will be bringing my New/Used 2009 GS Mod this year.....

Yes if done correctly the belt needs to have the correct tension and the rear tire in alignment with the belt.
The laser alignment is based off the rear tire so if that is not correct then the alignment will be off.
At the three wheel rally in SD the outfit that was doing alignments was not checking those. Makes me wonder how many left with their Spyders handling worst then before it was touched:dontknow:

We got a call from someone who had theirs done in Deadwood and it was messed up.

nice to hear about the pre alignment stuff. the other places i talked to never
even mentioned this. ann, what do you find is a good tension amount. i keep
reading a little looser is better. sounds like the guys at robs are thorough .
