• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Roadster 2012-4 A Updated Throttle Body Actuator Protection B

just back from the dealership had that new t.b. put in i asked did you put in the updates that brp sent out they told me yes so i left shop and noticed i had a low fuel light and no bar readings but temp side was working so i went to gas station filled it up 3.4gals all it took still low fuel light on and no fuel bars so i go back to the shop then they said when they hooked up computer it didnt require any updates my question is do they need to force that update in in order for the protection and to fix the glitch on the fuel?

It appears they did the update, but used a previous version of BUDS. They need the newest vesion, released last Friday.

I just had the update done on my RTS and the digital fuel gauge went south. The dealer called BRP and they said it was the first they have heard about it. The dealer was told to take a new cluster and check the gauge and it worked, BRP authorized a new cluster to be installed. It will arrive Tues. Will let you know what happens.:(

I had to inform dealer about 2012-4 update. After he got it he reflashed the computer and now all is well. Thank you Lamonster:2thumbs:

As Lamont posted it at the beginning of this thread, the 2012-4 is for all 2011's and 2012's. RT's only.

I have a 2011 RT-S and just had it done last week. All is well -- no problems. Ridden couple hundred miles since with no hiccups.

The dealer downloaded the latest software immediately before he did my bike. So it had to be 3.3.2 or something even later. He said BUDS told him to download the latest software before proceeding.
