• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The current issue of Road Runner magazine has a riding impression review of the Spyder. You can check out a partial review here:

The full review can be ordered on-line or you can pick the magazine up at your favorite news stand. Overall, the reviewer seemed to like it pretty well.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! :a18:

Cheers,

For those of us that don't have our rides yet, we rely on you and the rest of the riders and the articles in the magazines to keep us going...

I agree with 2faston3.

I'm not saying I'll never read another Spyder article again, but I sure gobble up everything I can while waiting for delivery.

(10 and a half months and counting...)

That was meant to be a joke. :joke: I did the same thing before I got mine but you will get more "real" info from sites like these than an article from the guys who had the Spyder for a few hours or a few days. There is nothing like an owners review. :doorag:

Absolutely true, Lamont. I always enjoy reading the mags as well, but the best information comes from the Spyder sites. All of you riders "down south" have been the beta testers for us frozen northerners since fall 2007, and I really appreciate the great tidbits of information I have gleaned from this site.
Cheers,
Bruce
