There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rack went all easy enough----- but the drill templet holes are short by 1/4" ( you bet it makes a difference). So be sure to mark the holes in the rack on the templet in place. I also adjusted the rack up about 1/4" to let the high mount brake light show a bit better. It's all good---- rack stays up just fine and will hold the few pounds ( 2 rain suits and a 1/2 cover, which still fits fine)easily.

Load rating on Rivco rack??

The instructions from Rivco say the limit is 12 pounds. Two rain suits and a half cover won't even make half the limit and that's all I plan to put on that rack.
It is shiny ( safety chrome!!!!) I did give the chrome a coat of paste wax and a quick polish to help seal the chrome surface( it does rust )

Well pretty sure, just go to www. Rivcoproducts.com and check them out. more expensive than the tube style rack but the Rivco product has its advantages.

Installed mine (but in black) two days ago and I had the same problem with the template holes. E-mailed ValueAcc. and they said they'd tell Rivco of the problem next week.
