• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Risers - anyone tried them? Can I fit DIY?

I see that Sling Mods sells risers for the Spyder, and I'm thinking it might make my riding position more comfortable. Anyone here make that mod? Do the cables on the handlebars have to be replaced? Wondering how big a job it would be to install the risers myself.

A few folks here have bought and used " ROX " risers if they had an F-3 ..... go to DennisKirk - snowmobile catalog , they are a lot less expensive ..... Mike

I bought the 2" riser from lamonstergarage and did not have to do anything with the cables. There was enough slack.

Concur. Did one last week for a lady. Super simple, plenty of wire. She was thrilled.
Last month, I installed the adjustable riser on a 21 RT. Also simple, works great!

OP---It depends what you ride. If you have an F3 or a 2020+ RT, those are good suggestions. You can NOT add risers to a PRE 2020 RT.
