• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Right Turn On Red!

Hi Firefly,

Re: We also allow turning left on red onto a one-way.......

As we do here in Oregon also. In Oregon you can make a left on red onto a oneway ( left moving traffic ) street from either a 2-way street or a 1-way street.

Few people know this and they just sit there. And when I do it, I get very strange looks.

Unbelievable

Followme, if you have trouble stopping a two wheel motorcycle and putting your foot down, seriously, please don't ride any more until you get a motorcycle to match your capabilities or take riding lessons until your capabilities match what you ride. This is NOT meant to be a slam on/to you. Your and others safety is at high risk.

Skyraider, if you have trouble reading, seriously, please read a forum to match your capabilities, or take reading lessons until your capabilities match what you are trying to read. This is NOT meant to slam on/to you. Your perceived intelligence is at risk.

What I said was....."It is insanely difficult (not impossible) to come to a complete stop on 2 wheels without putting a foot down." Which means, in order to perform a lawful complete stop while on 2 wheels, (come to a stop, pause..one one thousand two one thousand, check traffic to see if its safe, then proceed) most people need to put a foot down.

I never referenced my ability to ride, just the fact that a lot of 2 wheel riders do not perform the correct complete stop.

Thank you for your concern for my safety, it much appreciated!
