• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Right lights not working after repair - any ideas?

I recently got my 2014 Can-Am Spyder RT back from the shop after a friend of mine ran into a curb and it had to be repaired. The majority of repair was on the right side. Basically, they replaced the struts, the tires, the fender, and other parts. When I got it back, the lights on the right side are not working, but the shop that fixed it said it's nothing they did. Nevertheless, I tried to figure it out myself and I'm stumped. Left lights low and high beams both work, but the right lights don't go on. The fender light also does not light up. I thought it was just a disconnected wire, but I did find a wire that I believe was cut. I don't know if that is the actual issue, but you can see it in the picture below. It's the green wire.. I also found a connector just hanging with nothing to connect to, but from what I can see, it wasn't supposed to connect, as you will see from the photos.

Any help would be greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance

Sorry you had damage & a questionable shop. Cut wire not good, test if any power to either side, between wires, & a good clean frame point. Tape off/cap off for safety 'til you know more (you don’t have to strip & cure/expose any extra copper for that). No matching end for the connector? There were fog light connections on some Spyders awaiting addition of the kit; sorry, but I'm not as familiar with what years, models, or the connectors.

Like has been said above, check for power on both sides of that green wire, it may be your problem! Try hooking the wire up if you have power to one side and not the other. Was the wire loom open like that, and how did you find that cut wire? That connector you found has been plugged off for future use, does it have power to it? There's a disconnect from left to right somewhere, and for the shop to say it had nothing to do with what they did would be a stretch in my book! Was it working when you sent it to the shop?

Does the green wire have a color stripe or is it solid green? On the 3 wire connector that is capped, if it has a black wire, a gray with a beige stripe, and a gray with a green stripe, it's for the optional fog light.
