• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Right front tire wheel wobble

Help....we have a 2012 RT Limited with 13,000 km...it now has a very bad wobble which started around 9,000 km...we have had the tires balanced...the right one had thirteen l/4 oz weights initially...it now has 10...did not solve the wobble problem...which occurs between 65 to 75 km/hr...we then switched the tires from left to right...problem not solved...has been suggested that we get an alignment...could it be a "bad" tire??

Yeah..!!

it could be. Other things to check are wheel bearings A arm bushings and ball joints. New laser aligment wouldn't hurt. You already have the balance and tire swap (original tires are rotational) so you can eliminate that...

Had the same problem with our 2012 it already had an alignment. Tires had 14,000 miles and started to wobble around 40 mph. Got them balanced and they were worse. Got new tires and the problem was solved. The new tires are 185/65/14 General Altimax HP's.

Alignment
A separated belt inside the tire
loose lug nuts. (doubtful)
Bearings and bushings.
Bent Wheel.

Your list of potential causes is pretty light; I wouldn't waste much time getting to it.

Had the same problem on my 2012 RT at about 10,000 miles. Nothing we did seemed to solve the problem.

We finally took a wheel assembly (wheel and tire) off a showroom Spyder, mounted it on mine and it solved the problem. That tied it down to either wheel (bent) or tire (defective). Turned out to be a belt in the tire that had broken loose but was slipping in and out of place so it was hard to pin down.

Had the same problem at same speed on my 2012 RT Ltd. Did everything you did then some to no avail. Finally got tired of it and replaced tires with Hankook Optimo 4S from Canadian tire @ $81.00. No more vibration and just love the tire and ride. Tire size 175/65R14, fits with no fender mod and no nanny issues.
