• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

riding without warranty

After having my engine replaced under warranty, I'm not going to take any chances with my 24K investment. My factory warranty will be up in June 2010 and I sure will get the BEST.

Mind, this is the first time I've ever thought of getting an extended warranty for any vehicle, but its also the first time I've had an engine go out at 20K.

You've already had the worst thing happen that could happen and it happened under warranty.

Expecting lightning to strike twice?

Why give them their money back by purchasing the extended?

Just go'in with the probablilities here.......

with the problems i had in the first 500 miles, between the parts and labor totaled over 3500.00 all covered under warranty. so as apart of the lemon case settlement, i had 3yr extended best warranty added to the 2yr factory and a nice amount of cash for some accessories. put about 1400 miles on my spyder since the problems were corrected. i wouldn't want to have pay the bill for an electrical component that went bad for what ever reason and some parts changed (elec.) have to be remapped into computer and i don't have any friends with brp soft ware rights to perform these tasks.

Too much electronics to NOT get the BEST warranty...not worth the chance 3 years down the road. Working on mechanical items is one thing...if there are electrical problems, forget it...
