• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Riding without frunk insert in - is this okay

There is a lot of room under the liner for air to cool the radiator but I have a friend that cut it in half and made it larger by using some meterial to enlarge it. He said he has not run hotter with the larger frunk. I was toying with the Idea of velcroing a plastic tub under the liner for the tool kit and owners manual.

Liner, insert, tub .... OP needs to clarify what he's talking about. Fabric liner, body part, battery access door. What?

It was a warm day in the northeast so I removed the battery tender and went for a ride. I went out without putting the frunk insert in, is this okay? It would seem okay but I wanted to run it by people on the forum who know better than me.

Regards,
Jim

It could only be the frunk tub. You need to remove 4 push pins to get it out. The top edge is what seals the frunk to the gasket on the lid. Without it it (The lid) would move around in the wind. Not recommended. The push pins are not really necessary.

No need to quote: his post is the one right before mine... :D
Sometimes; this stuff can be figured out pretty quickly.

Here in lies the problem.
YOU know that you are replying to the post immediately preceding......but NOBODY ELSE does.

Making people "figure it out" is just a bit rude.

Or, you could read the entire thread and make a relevant comment based on that.
Instead of shooting from the hip and then getting all pi$$ed at someone else because you made an error.

I'm sorry... Should I chew your food for you also?

Seriously: if this is the worst possible thing that has happened to you today: you lead an extraordinarily great life! :2thumbs: :congrats:

Some of you really need to get a life (no, I’m not referring to the post immediately before mine)
