So, now we're riding balers?

Thank you very much Roger.
Do you think it was the stress of the new sway bar on the OEM plastic coupler that caused the part to break?
Carl
There is no doubt that a stronger sway bar puts more stress on these links. But it is interesting that all but this joint where broken with stock bars. There are over 1,000 pre-2013 Spyders with my sway bar on them that have had no breakage issues. They all use the same Heim Joint Links.
I think pretty much any option would be better than the stock option. :doorag:

BajaRon,
I don't see the 2 piece locks that are used on each side of the after market sway bar. I think I see what appear to look like the plastic bushings only that I have on my 2008.
These are exact diameter of original and made much stronger. Im going to take the chance. Worst it can do is break. Or break somthing else upstream. I was in a hard turn at over 80mph when the original broke.. only thing that happened was loud pop and a slight shake. after i was out of turn it was a way looser. I definitely need the big swaybar from Bajaron. Ill let yall know if it does well tomorrow. I hope it dries up just a little so I can torture it.

Just completed the cherohola skyway and was on the last few turns and the swaybar linkage broke. I have however come up with a bulletproof solution. I will post it as soon as I get some internet going at the cabin. It will solve all the broken swaybar issues.
Ill go ahead and tell yall what to buy to permanently fix. Get two 5/16 fine thread tie rod ends and a grade 8 bolt with enough thread to cut off and join the two tie rods together Now butt them together and it will be the exact length as the plastic junk that comes on the spyder....
Ill post pictures later.....
I have no internet yet at the cabin in tellico plains. I am buying a verizon myfi and hopefully ill be online shortly.

No. The stock setup is breaking them also. Im sure it stresses them more. Ron will most likley come up with a more professional looking "upgrade" part than my double tie rod end fix. Ill have some results tomorrow with my fix and ill post back here.

Did not realize you were still running the OEM bar but thought you were in the middle of a beta test run for BR.
