• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sena

Sena---- They have all level of systems and they work very well BuT I'm not sure about ear buds. My wife can hear me ( and visa versa) just fine at speed-- shield open or closed / wind shield up or down. We have the Sena 5 as we didnt want all the bells and wistels-- it still does a lot.

U-Clear; works very well, will link with up to 10 other units, 700 meter line of sight and great bluetooth for music, phones gps. Don't leave home without itnojoke:clap::yes::ohyea:

Scala...

We are in the Scala G9 corner. There are many just depends how much you want and how much you want to spend. The two biggest are the Sena and the Scala. The G9 gives you...FM radio, intercom, mp3 (or other source), GPS, Phone and connection to 8 other ryders . I am not familiar with the Sena but we has a sponsor here for them who can fill you in on its capabilities...

I have not owned U clear but have owned both Scala and SENA and found SENA to be infinitely better..

Sena....wife and I have used ours for over 2 years, work perfectly....also. if I may, I like your handle..Are you from the Isle of Man???? Relatives??
I'm half Manx on my mom's side. She was born in Douglas..:thumbup::thumbup:

Another vote for Sena here. I have the SMH 10 and the noise cancelling they use is great. I have used it for phone conversations at hwy speeds and people can't tell I'm on a bike!

I have a CB on my 2015 RSL. That gives me the CB to unlimited other bikes, PRIVATE communication with my wife, and she also can talk on CB. Have the wires but they are no big deal.

Wife and I have HJC modular helmets and bought the chatterbox that fits in the socket on the side of the helmet pretty clear and wind noise is not bad. at slow speeds under 30 I open my face sheld and it does not cause any issues. T
hey work well however have had a few battery issues need to let them discharge all the way before you charge other wise they do not seem to last long.

Actually we have raced Nortons for man years, and of course the Manx Norton was many times victer at the Isle. My son Bob raced there a couple of years ago, stepped off at one of the famous turns and spent a few days there. ( bike went in to false neutral at the ton mile.....
