• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ride Report: First Real Ride of 2010 - New 2010 Spyder RS

I should try and drum up some pictures of the installation of the hot hands to share, if anyone is interested?:dontknow:

I would like to see the pictures of the install. Also, any details on the gloves you are using would be good. I may never need the heated grips down here, but I still like to see what is available.

Be advisted, that on any amount of snow, the Traction Control System (TCS) may kick in and prevent you from moving very far. I've tried it just a little at the edge of an empty parking lot to experience the effects myself, first hand, and I found that on my SM5 you have to really feather the clutch with a sensitive hand, otherwise TCS will kick in and you may stall, at least on a SM5.

Cheers, go for it (it is an educational experience, and maybe fun:)), and be safe, SpyderWolf.

I don't think I'll be riding in any amount of snow with my Spyder.
Cheers,
Dean

The snow has been melting way too fast already. I was barely able to get a decent sized snowman made with my 7 year old son. The snowman is currently listing badly to one side, so I am not sure how much longer it will be standing.

I decided against taking the Spyder for a ryde. It is very muddy right now, and I really did not want to get it all that messy. :D

Hopefully this will be the last we see of snow for a few more years.
