• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone use ride-on in their tires and what is the general consensus on using it, thinking about getting it for my tires.

I TAKE IT WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT, WE CAN DISPENSE OF THOSE UGLY 'WHEEL WEIGHTS'.... :gaah:

Yes, that's what others have done. I left mine on. I'd have provided a link; but, after the last time, I decided not to.

I've found, as others have also, that if the spyder sits for a couple days, it takes about a 1/2 mile before the ride smooths out, when using ride-on.

1/2 mile is a small price 2 pay if this product works well...
would you NOT install it again @ u'r next tire change out....?
i just read about it on the internet... seems like a 'no brainer' to me....
oh, btw....
GREEN SLIME is just that... makes the tire changer really mad during a change-out.... sticky as u-no-what...

I'd use it again. There is a thread by Jerbear that was pretty interesting regarding not using it in certain climates. I think it had to do with high humidity, not sure.

I was wrong; it's low humidity and high temperatures.

tire chart

I got on ride-on website and they have two recommendations regular and severe does anyone know what dictates one or the other. Would you just go with severe? They don't show the front tires for the 2014 rt.

I use it and I like it. Warm days doesn't take long to smooth out. You don't notice it at lower speeds.

Cold days takes longer. Still well worth it to me.

Use Auto formula as mention because the Spyder does not have motorcycle tires.

I use it. Haven't had any issues with the Spyder, but on my Venture ride on saved me from some flats and considering the cost of a new tire, that is a bunch of money.

Call me contrary :), I tried ride on, still have a bunch of bottles here, discovered it was useless in tube type tires so I went back to slime for everything. I'm do my own tire changes so it doesn't bother me on the non-tube tires to wash the slime out.

I run slime in the front tractor tires too....I don't do that in the rear since they're full of liquid which I think would negate the slime.

I just put ride-on in all my new tires, I had it in my 2011 and had no problems but thought i would check with everyone to see if they still used it, thanks for all the input.

Ride - on with tubes do not work at all. Has to a un tubeless. Tire to work. Slime? Not very good at all .. Ride -on works great. But use auto moved for the bike and make shure you put the right amount in each or will not do the job...to still the best and always can a plug kit with you? Never know who will need on the road ,car or bike? Ride to me works great on my 2014 now with 37,001 miles on it....as of to day love the 2014 bike. Fuel now at 40 mpg with trl loaded running 65 mpr....
