This is one of the products that I really believe in. I've been running this in my Spyder for over 40,000 miles now and use it not only for flat protection but I don't run any wheel weights on my Spyder and have had great results. My ride is smooth and my tires wear evenly.

Thanks Lamonster for your info on amounts to use. I offer a short testimony of my use of Ride-On in my Spyder tires.

Six of "The Lost Boys" did a 5 day hamburger run about Texas. Traveled a total of 1800 miles and ate 2 hamburgers per day for the 5 days. At the end of the run found a screw in my rear tire with the head almost worn off. Don't have a clue when I picked up the screw but Ride-On kept air in the tire long enough for me to discover it. Just as an additional test, I did our usual Monday ride and the head finally came off or actually the screw came out. Tested the tire over the next few days and found I was losing a lb or so of air per day. That works good enough for me, so on goes my new Toyo Proxes 4 plus Ride-On.

I'm sure it will come with instructions however what are the steps to install the Ride On?? I know it may sound like a dumb question but here is what I'm thinking..
1) Take the wheel weights off the rims. (Ride on is a Balancer as well??)
2) Deflate the tire.
3) Install Ride On.
4) Inflate tire to spec
5) Go for a ride..

Question: Can you flatten all three tires and do this one time instead of 3 differant times?

Yah know what I mean,, is the time to do all three before the Ride On starts to settle?? Again it may seem like kind of a dumb question but I just don't know..

Is the procedure above correct??

That's pretty much it. The Ride-On doesn't harden up so that's not an issue. As far as taking the weights off, that's up to you. I've done it both ways. If you're installing new tires I would take the weights off but if you're adding this to the tires you have now just leave them on.:doorag:

I took the weights off both our Spyders and took for a run. My wifes Spyder had a string of weights about 5" long on both wheels and it took about a half mile before frontend stopped shacking.

I'm sure that is a good idea but most of the guys I know with custom wheels don't want 50 cent weights on their $3,000 wheels. So far I haven't heard of any problems. I know they will be out of balance at first but once you drive it around a bit it will true right up. I've done it both ways on the Spyder with the same results.

I'm sure that will work just fine. I'm just telling you what they now recommend for the Spyder.

Based on their rec I orderd 4 bottles of Auto formula.
I think it's the same stuff just differet container sizes
Motorcycle comes in 8oz auto in 16 and ATV in 32oz

Did not see the answers to these questions on their site,does ride-on have a shelf life and also I have a friend who wants to know if you can use it on motorcycles that have inertubes in them?

for whatever the reason, service writer at discount tires i ordered falken tires were very much against the rideon. i told him i was gonna order rideon for new front tires and he was like NO DON'T GET THE RIDE ON:yikes: i am guessing he had bad experience with them but it seem like it was more than that... i asked him why not and he just said, he lived thru it and he does not recomend.:dontknow:

Not sure on the shelf life but I've used stuff that was over a year old. No on the tube.

I was the first one to use Ride-On in a Spyder when I had my wheels chromed back in Jan of 08, or at least I think I was. :dontknow:

I turned Lamont on to this long ago when he was doing some new tires. He then got us all hooked up with the Spyderlovers deal on Ride -On. :clap:

I have used it for several years in my other bikes as with big $$$ custom wheels on many of these, I don't want 2 cent weights messing up their looks.

I have never had a problem with it in anyway, and have always had it provide a nice smooth balance job as a well. :2thumbs:

After getting the piece of mind it also gives in regards to flat protection, I now run it in all 7 of my bikes, custom wheels or not. :thumbup:
