• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ride count

Can you filter the list, to area? Like can you pull up only Michigan riders? Would be interesting. Need to get a SpyderLovers chapter started for Michigan.
 
Oh, I forgot. Maybe I will start a thread. Is anyone going to SpyderQuest 2016 in Lake George, NY, from Michigan? My wife and I are going and would be great to have others to ride up there with. It is Sept 7th to 10th.

Yes , I tried the sugestion from the post about how to do it. And was able to see only Michigan Spyderlovers. There are 273 of us. Would be a great chapter. Tom tried to get a group together, a couple of times .

It would be nice to form a Michigan group again. Maybe somebody host a barbecue. I would except I'm in the process of selling my house and it's hard to plan anything. I know that's how Joe in Arkansas got his group together.

Belinda & I would be willing to host a get together, with the purpose of possibly getting a SpyderLovers Chapter, or group together. We will figure out the specifics and post it. How many people that have replied to the current thread be interested? When we figure out a date, and details, we will post on the Michigan forum, and general discussion area.

Sounds great for me ! If you and Tom want to host it at my place , by Vestaburg, I am centrally located in Michigan. No more that 2hrs away from anyone and there is a great restaurant close by that has a lunch buffet for only $10.99 , from 11:30am till 2:00pm ( normally broached chicken ). I could make reservations, great food. After meeting, can take a ride on 66. They are open Thursday threw Sunday. That way , no one has to cook.

A meet and greet luncheon, sound like a great idea. Anything to get people together.

Sounds good to me. If I counted right, just replies from this thread alone, there would be 22 bikes, and 7 of those bikes would be couples, so that could be a total of 29 people. Not bad for a start. Could work on the list of Michigan people listed on forum and send out messages or emails. A Saturday sounds fine with me. We could do the get together where Larry was saying, and do different places each get together. I say let's get something started. Would really be nice to get group rides started, especially since fall will be coming, and sure would be some pretty rides to do. I will be in southeast Ohio the weekend of the 13th on a motorcycle ride (which anyone is welcome to ride down and go with us), so the first chance would be on 20th. Think that is enough time to get the word out and replies?

To those that have been following this thread, does Saturday the 20th work for most? Once we get a date established we can start sending out messages to our fellow Michigan Spyder guys & gals. I know that you just have to set a date, because no date is perfect for all, but have to get something in stone to start with. Sound like a plan, Tom?

If possible could all who have responded to this thread, give a reply ASAP, as to whether you can come, so we can get something going.
