• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RESULTS OF THE FIX ON MY 2012 RT SM5

My problem of the suddenly not starting problem on my 2012 RT SM5 was fixed today by my dealer---I hope. They plugged into the buds system and found that the ignition switch was stuck in the open position. They unhooked the switch, checked, reinstalled switch. Still didnt start so they checked fuses and found that the fuel pump switch was blown. Changed the fuse and now everything works fine. I asked them what could have caused this and they didnt know. I always get nervous when Techs cannot give me a definitive cause. Right now Spyder is running fine and towing & bill is covered under warranty. I just hope this doesnt happen when we are miles from home! Thanks to everyone for there help !!

Good news..!!

not great seeing as they have no clues. Still wonder if it was the fuel pump fuse or the ignition switch or both. Glad they got you going and all was covered. Relax and enjoy your ryde...:ohyea:

It is a bit scary to me when something like this happens and it gets fixed--but--the answer about the problem is not very good.

Makes you kind of wonder--will this happen again soon?

But, I am still glad you got your :ani29: up and running again.

I rather something had just broke --then its just very straight forward. I think Im going to mark the fuse that blew just in case it happens again--its in the fuse box in frunk so its not easy to see in there.
