Resetting codes & lifting bike

I recently lifted my RS to gain access to the taillight assembly and while it was up I turned on the ignition to check the lights before reassembly. After I was done a VVS & DPS codes showed up along with "limp home".
Is there a way to reset the codes manually or do I have to go to a dealer?
and has anyone experienced codes when elevating there bike.
I was thinking by turning the bike on while balanced on a "motorcycle" jack it might have caused the codes

You can try taking the key out and walking away 20 feet or so. I know it sounds strange but dealership had me do it once to reset check dps message. Something about the chip in the key needing to lose connection. Anyway, just a suggestion.

Had the same thing happen to me when I installed trailor hitch.
reading the forum, someone suggested to ride it for a couple hundred yards.
i did and the codes went away.
try that before you take it to the dealer.

You probably did something else besides just jack up the Spyder, it could have been tilted, had a sensor damaged, had the brake light wires disconnected or LEDs installed, or some other trigger for the VSS warning...or it could have just been cooincidence. Just lifting the Spyder or turning on the key (or both) won't trigger a fault. If there was no damage, the codes should be clear when you lower the Spyder and start it up. If it remains in limp mode, you will need to see your dealer. If the codes clear, they will remain in the computer, and can be cleared by your dealer at the next service. "Occurred" codes are for history only, and do not affect operation of the machine. Only active codes cause warnings.

Replaced bulbs with LED's.

Replaced bulbs with LED's.

If you didn't use the right bulbs that's your problem. Put the stock bulb's back in and I'll bet your codes go away.
