Replacing Bulbs for LEDs

I have a 2010 RT - S

I understand The front turn signal lights and the brake lights are built with
LEDs (light emitting diode) and this technology proved to be reliable.
all others appear to use normal bulbs

I would like to change the Positon, Back up lights, License plate light and the Rear turn signal lights to LEDs
Can this be done with just LED Bulb changes or are resistors need due to the Can-Bus system

I will leave the Headlamps as stardard

If anyone can give any iformation and suitable Bulb types e.g. 194 etc

I ordered LEDs for the front fender tip lights from TricLed. They fit right in. I don't know about the other lights so I suggest you check their site. They are a sponser.

We can and do RT tail light/turn signal housing LED conversions all the time, and have for the last two seasons.

We can also do a full blown RT Triple Play converion, or just the turn signal conversion.

You can ask Bumble Bee how she like her's as she's had the Triple Play conversion for over a year now. :2thumbs:

LED Lights

Hey Guy's

I changed all the lights on my RT-S to LED
Fender tips - 194
Backup - 1156 white (1156=single circut)
Flashers - 1156 red (without a resistor they will flash faster)

Note: 1156 = single circut (like tail light, backup, flasher only)
1157 = dual circut (like tail / brake light combo)
The LED lightbulbs i got fit without a problem :2thumbs:
