• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Replaced Tires, got Codes C006C, U0416, & C003A plus Limp Home Mode - Help?

Mike, I took the rear ABS sensor out and could not see through to the other side, so I stuck the Allen wrench through the hole and knocked the dirt out.

I guess when I ride in the rain or on wet roads, I should check this more often. The last time I drove the bike, the roads were wet after a rainstorm.

I make it a point to clean them every time I remove the brake assembly or tire. Good job!!

We have wasps here that pack every hole they can find with mud. I'm wondering if you might have the same issue in Jersey.

After I cleared the blockage from the hole I started the bike and took a ride , I read here that if you drive 3500 rpm at 35 MPH the codes will shut off and the limp mode will stop, as you drive you will see the ABS light shut off then the check engine light shut off. When those lights cleared the bike ran normal, (no limp mode).

The codes are still stored in the ECU, but at least they are not active, I am going to get my dealer do a safety check before I take the bike to Tail of the Dragon, (Sept 9-11) with the Spyder group I belong to, and I will have them check out the bike and clear the codes I have 15k miles on the bike so it is best to have them check it.
