HowTo: Replace the battery in Sena 20S

Sena will tell you that once the battery goes dead, you're out of luck unless the unit is still under warranty, which typically it's not.

I just replaced the battery in each of my Sena 20S with this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YZM8D5I/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The hardest part is finding a T-8 bit to remove and replace the 5 tiny screws.

Mine are about 5 years old

The old ones were swollen.

Good information but a little out dated Me and Finless Bob have been replacing the batteries in ALL SENA units for years

Are you saying you provide that service? That's good for folks to know.

We have done it for years from the SMH5 on up the earlier ones are not plug and play you have to solder them in.
you can find the batteries on ebay .
