• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Repair of front trunk

Hi

Does anyone know how to replace the wire for the trunk and how to access the assembly under the steering wheel?

Do you mean the handlebars ????? :joke:

The wire is connected to the ignition switch, and to access it you must remove the handle bar cover. There are bolts underneath the handlebar cover and if I remember correctly are 8mm and 10mm. I'm not sure what path the wire takes to get to the trunk so I'm not sure how difficult the rest of the replacment will be. The handlebar cover removal alone will take time and plenty of patience so good luck.

Someone posted a picture awhile ago with the bolt locations on the handlebar cover and if sombody remembers it, please post it for this guy because it will help him get an idea where they are.
