• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wouldn't it be nice to get a mailer like this from your local Spyder dealership? Adjusted for inflation, what would these costs be today?

For 2010 dollars (inflation only)...
New Fenders..................$3.50-$5.00 = $44.66-$62.79
Fender Labor..................$1.00-$2.50 = $12.76-$31.90
Tune-up........................$1.00 = $12.76
Brake Shoe Labor............$1.25 = $15.95
Front Axle Rebuild...........$4.00-$5.00 = $51.04-$62.79
Rear Axle Overhaul..........$5.75-$7.00 = $73.36-$89.31
Valve Grind....................$3.00-$4.00 = $38.28-$51.04
Pistons & Rings...............$7.00 = $89.31
Engine Overhaul Labor......$20.00-$25.00 = $255.18-$318.97

I would take these prices any day...even with the inflation. At $90/hr labor, an engine overhaul would cost many times that $318.97 today. Engines were simpler then, but not that much simpler.
