• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Removing stickers, etc from helmets

So the Mrs. iridenow's helmet still has the price sticker on it. I've done as good as I can with my hands. Is a hair dryer a good tool to remove the sticker? Any other suggestions how to get it off without scratching up the helmet?

Yes, a hair dryer is the safest. Some elbow grease and a plastic scraper should work. I would avoid chemicals such as Goo Gone, etc. I've had some costly mistakes with that stuff.

She doesn’t want to be Minnie Purl?

had a similar problem when balancing the wheels
the stick on wheel weights when removed, leave a paper/glue residue which defies removal

the other day,i tried mineral turps on a rag....2 good attempts and the glue came right off....no scraping no scratching

Yup! Saw her on Saturday evening on RFD TV.

A piece of history for you...it is all a well done act. She was actually very sophisticated and lived in a big mansion in Nashville. Had lots of money. I guess we could say, she laughed all the way to the bank.

I actually think of her everytime we go for a ride on Hwy 43. We go by a place called Possum Trot. Minnie said she came from Grinder's Switch. Similar type of country name for a place. Found in the hills and hollers in the country.

Peanut butter. My wife uses it all the time on this sort of thing. Just smear it on for 24 hours and the oil dissolves the glue
