• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Remembering that I have heated handgrips...

Once again, as I was ryding to work on the Spyder, it dawned on me halfway into my commute that I have heated handgrips :duh:.
Temps this morning were 44 degrees (I know that's practically summer for some of you used to colder climates) which is cold in my neck of the woods. I have heard several people post that the heated hand grips are just right on low setting but too hot on high. I found the high setting to be just the right accompaniment for my gloves.

Now, if only I could only remember that I have 'em. I don't know how many rydes I have taken the last couple of weeks wishing my hands were warmer...:banghead:

If I have thin gloves on I have to turn the grips on and off when on low. With thicker (winter) gloves on I can leave the grips on low.

Don't worry..!!

A few more times prying your fingers off the bars and you will.! Rememder..!! :roflblack:

For me, I like them a lot--but they could be a bit hotter. This of course coming from someone in Alaska. :roflblack:

The first time I rode into rode I had to turn my down to low and I had on thin gloves. I'm usually a very cold person. It felt good.

I didn't wear my glove liners the other day and the heated grips on low were just right. I find though that if I wear my winter gloves that I really don't feel the heat from the grips it doesn't seem to penetrate through the thicker gloves.
