• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Remembering our soldiers

I know this isn't really a Spyder topic, except that I know we have Spyderlovers out there who have served or are serving this country. I just want to say thanks to the men and women who have given so much to allow us the freedoms we so enjoy and too often take for granted.

We had 31 people over to cook out last night and 5 of the men had served in the military. I've heard a few of their stories and am amazed they are sane. In church this morning my husband had the privilege of praying with a young man who served in Afghanistan and is haunted by visions of death and graves. Last week I saw a disabled veteran at the hardware store. When I told him how grateful I was, he said he'd do it all over again. He'd been paralyzed for 36 years. I could only shake my head.

It's a tiny gesture for all that you've given, but to all you veterans and active duty Spyderlovers:

:clap:God Bless You and Thanks.

Thanks for the great thread and today in honor of all that gave everything we Post 111 marked very known vet and we will honor them Monday with a 21 gun salute and the playing of taps. Thanks for all that served.

Thank you. I continue to pray for those that are currently serving and for those who did not come home the same way as they left. Freedom is definitely not free, and everyone should be mindful of that always.

:agree:...........go out and thank a Vet for your freedom, then take your :spyder2: for a romp today.:2thumbs: Thanks and God bless to all my fellow USAF vets.

Thank You, to all who served and are still serving. Remember, All gave some, Some gave all.

I always try to make it to the parade and ceremony held in our little town. Today there was a fly over by 4 planes, looked like WWII era, with that wonderful bass sound of the engines. Anyway, it was an exclamation point to remind us of the purpose of the day.

Thank you to every person that has served and is serving!! You are the reason we have the freedoms we have today.
