2015 F3. Not run hard with 10K miles. Bad piston (just stopped working). Bad transmission (metal shards found in case). Bad paddle shifter (stuck in gears). 10K in repairs covered by warranty.

My 2016 Spyder RTS now has 2500 miles on it and absolutely no problems. My 2012 had many problems within that modest mileage. I am well pleased with the new bike.

I have a 2012 RT Limited. It has 49,000 miles on it. Only issue was Throttle Bodies changed out on Waurentee at 12,700 miles. Other wise, no issues other than front end alignment. Finally had Laser alignment which seems to have fixed the front tire inner wear. Oil consumption is now about one quart every 5000 miles. I expect many more fun miles on this RT.

So I bought the 2016 F3T spyder for my wife from Fritzer, but I've been riding it LOTS to keep the battery ready when her hip heals up. Darn, lots of fun, might have to buy another.

Owned several Spyder rt

Never had an issue to talk to a dealer about .Never worried about having any problem and we travel alone most of the time. I have owned several and will buy more as the years pass.

The common thread thru all of these post, with the exception of the 2012, is the 1330 triple rotax engine. It has proven to be a reliable drive train. Regardless if it's driven 3,000, or 33,000 miles per year. Since the Spyders are shipped in creates, and they must be assembled, there is always a chance that the human factor may cause some issues that will need to be tended to.
The F3 was not around in April of 2015, so I can't comment on that specific model. My '15 RT Limited has only needed annual service. Currently has 9,000 miles with no issues. Only needed a belt alignment and Squared Away in 2016.

46K miles on a 2014 RT, with just a few issues (these are far more reliable then the 2010 I previously owned). Since the RT's from 2014-2017 are basically the same, you'll likely have better luck finding 14's and 15's with enough mileage to be meaningful.

In all that time:
I had a bad part that leaked oil when I got it, but it was replaced.
I had a coolant leak because of a bad seal (easily fixed).
I had to have the compressor replaced (under warranty).
The shocks went out, and of course I've been though tires and brakes, but that is all expected.

Overall, I'm hoping to ride it to 100K and then replace it. Even if they don't upgrade it between now and then (unlikely), I would happily but it again.

2015 rt s dess code is my only problem the module was replaced under warranty it has occurred again and my dealer is telling me it might be trailer wiring or heated gear cord find that hard to understand but it has always cleared and has been a great ride for 15000 miles.

2,600 miles on my 2016 RTL and no issues. Riding season is just beginning here in the desert Southwest.

I have a 2015 RTS and don't think much has changed from 2015 to 2016. I'm currently approaching 10,000 miles and has been trouble free.

Update: Currently have over 21,000 trouble free miles. In July took a 9100 mile trip out west and back. That why I reached 21,000 miles so fast.

Our good friend, Dot, a 74 yr old woman, went to the Dragon with 6 other trikes, mostly conventional trikes. She and her F3-T, left everyone else in the dust, then waited for the group to catch up. Clear a path when the old woman is a coming through!

Bought my 2015 RTS Sm6 September 12 2015 and now I have 16,200 miles on it. Had one issue that was fixed under warranty and that's it.
