Thinking about toying with a Reinhardt muffler on my 13 rt! In your honest opinion! Do you think that would hurt in any way the engine performance? Not looking to sound like a harley, but, don't want it to sound like a lawn mower either!

Are you going to use a bypass pipe also?

Don't know. ..!!

Not familiar with that one. There are a lot of them out there and You Tube has many sound clips that can give you an idea of the different sounds and may have that one as well....

Thanks for responding! My main concern with that is the engine performance and the computer going crazy!

Not a problem. Many have gone for a better sound. Just changing the cat for a bypass will give you a nice sound.....

Trying to avoid removing the cat for warranty reasons ! Have till September of 2017!
If you are leaving the cat you should have plenty of back pressure. You should be fine. Are you going with a muffler from a 2 into 1 system or a muffler from a 2 muffler system? Be interesting to hear it run. I went with the cat by-pass pipe on mine and retained the stock muffler. Not really much louder, just a deeper sound.

2 muffler system! Just curious about what sound i would get with the cat on! Don't want to go through the expense of replacing the cat, and then be disappointed with the results! Thank you!

I did not know that LaMonster cat by pass would effect warranty?

No one here has implied that! I don't know if the lamonster or any other cat by-pass nullified the warranty! I just got to play it safe in case any internal engine part goes bad, don't want brp blaming it on the cat removal!

No worries

If the motor breaks, replace the stock exhaust and cat. Way too many people have lots of miles on them. No issues I've seen. Go for it!

Not exactly sure of how you are visioning this install of the Reinhardt muffler, but I was under the impression most of those are pretty long in length. Are you planning to have that low long look that exits the exhaust further back than stock.

Just seems the distance from the exhaust elbow under the right foot of the passenger is not very far until rear edge of the tire.

Nothe much longer than stock! I was thinking the muffler shop can make a new pipe to replace the existing one! Maybe it can be made shorter to gain some inches up front! Again my main concern is the engine performance! Since this is for now just an idea, the length of the muffler would have to be taken into consideration! Thanks for your response
