• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Reflector on saddle bags

Has anyone had problem with the reflector on the side of the saddle bag on the ST Limited falling off? I have a 2013 that I purchased in mid-July and have only about 1200 miles on it. Luckily the reflector fell off while it was in the garage.

If anyone has had that problem, what did they do to fix it permanently?:spyder:

I would recommend cleaning off the old adhesive and reapplying it. Make sure you clean the application surface very good as well.
If the adhesive on the reflector has not been contaminated you can try reheating and reapplying it.

Had mine on the right side fall off somewhere down the road about 3 weeks ago.

I fixed it by having the dealer replace it under warranty:thumbup:

Mine fell off the first ride. I pulled the other one off so it would match.

Yes, mine fell off while I was on a road trip. I think that happened the first week I had it. It was covered under warranty. I think the dealer used double sided tape to attach.

The reflectors on the saddlebags also have a foam tape spacer that is used to fill in the indentation and then the reflector is applied to the area with more double-sided sticky foam tape.

I had one of mine come off so I got to thinking, I'll pull the other one off an put a side light on them. I made them so that you can unplug them when you take them off.

I have Led brake lights and side reflectors on my saddle bags on my 2010 RS. They work wonderful even when the bike is in reverse they flash. The RS/GS, ST are not well lit in the rear. I also have the 3rd. light in the rear. Even Ray Charles can see me from the rear. Safety is being seen on a motorcycle!!!! I also remove my bags often an all wire is waterproof and quick disconnect.

PM me for more info.

My reflector fell off during my trip to 4 corners with less than 3500mi on bike.. Dealer replaced at no charge...

If these reflectors are the same as they are on the GS/RS version of the Givi/BRP bags, then the colored panels are supposed to hold them in place. Sounds a lot like they are being improperly assembled.
