• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Redline Oil

Can anyone tell me if they have any experience with Redline Synthetic Oil. I am going in for an oil change and the dealer recommended this oil since I want a full synthetic oil.

If your Dealer recommends it , And he'll stand by it why not use it ?

I've used Red Line products in my Harley's for years now, they shift better, clutches don't slip, and top end noise is minimal compared to other synthetic brands. I've run Red Line in the Spyder for the last 2 years, ever since BRP eliminated their own fully synthetic line. The engine is quieter, shifting is greatly improved, and there has been no clutch slip.

Thank you for sharing this...was hoping you would.

Thanks for the thumbs up on the oil. I have never heard of it so was wondering. I can find no tests of the oil comparing it to other synthetics so was curious.

I've also used RedLine in my HD Ultra Classic but only RedLine Shockproof Heavy in the transmission. I used Mobil 1 V-Twin 20-50 in the crankcase. I may look into RedLine for the Spyder. I'm a believer in fully synthetic oil.
