• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recommend Front Tires for my RT?

My god man, do a search in the little box in the right corner and make your eye's bleed!!!:2thumbs:

Thanks Mikey. I should have been a bit more specific, anyone running car tires versus what is available for the RT from Kenda or Kumo?

OMG, mention tires or oil, and and folks are ready to throw you under the bus. Some people asking redundant questions are newbies or just curious. Can we cut them some slack? Maybe not!

Yep, Tele, we seriously don't need yet another thread asking this question, and it ALWAYS pays to do a search first before starting a new thread, only please do check the date on the first post in the thread and at least the last few posts in the thread, then make a judgement call on if the posters in that thread are likely to answer any questions! And a little thread archeology is OK, if it adds to the knowledge base &/or shared experiences, but there's not much point in dragging up an older thread if none of the posters in it have been around for anything over a year or so.

Apart from that, firstly, you really should either include the year and model of your Spyder in the text of every one of your posts that's asking Spyder type questions, or maybe you could just follow the instructions in this thread so that those details are on every post you make:

https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums...l-Add-your-Spyder-Year-model-to-your-Sig-Line!

Secondly, it really doesn't matter if your Spyder's a base RT; an RT-S; an RT Ltd; or any other Spyder that's been sold since 2013 (pre-2013 Spyders ran 14" rims so they run different sizes of tires! ;) ) they will ALL run the same size tires and there's only a few sizes that will actually fit - but effectively, ANY reasonable quality car tire in any of those sizes that fit are going to be good!

And Thirdly, all you need to do is put 'Tires' into the Search field, or maybe 'Tires' & 'recommendation' in there; click on the 'Search Titles Only' box in the drop-down list; submit the search; and then use the titles to help you pick which threads to read first. ;)
