• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Received Our New Ultimate Seat Today

I have to give Ultimate Seats a big . Today another thread was talking about good customer service. I will say that I think Ultimate falls into the group of vendors that provide great customer service and a great product based upon what my experience has been. The whole experience has been positive.

We went with an Ultimate Inlay and a riders back rest but no gas door.

I had looked at all the pictures of Cognac RTS' that I could find with different colour combinations. Java Croc and Ostrich Wheat is very nice. Cognac Croc with a black base such as what Pierre from Spyder TV has done is also very nice. I decided I wanted Cognac Croc for the Inlay but couldn't decide on what colour and pattern to use for the base. I decided after looking at samples sent by Ultimate to go with Java Ostrich as the base. Dave Frank in speaking with Des told me it was a combination that Ultimate had not done before but thought it would be a great combination.

So, I guess this is kind of like a Christmas present to our spyder and ourselves. I'm attaching some pictures ( I hope they attach) and would like comments good or bad. The pictures don't do the colours complete justice because of the indoor lighting. Either way, my wife and I are extremely happy with the end result.

Cheers,

Gary

Just BEE-U-T-FUL! That will get as many looks as the Spyder! Yep, that's a great Christmas present for your Spyder and the happy riders. If you can, give us a review after a few hundred miles. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Awesome

Thank you for sharing this beautiful and unique seat with us mere mortals. There aren't adequate adjectives to describe this seat. Wow!

Thankyou All

I appreciate the kind comments from everyone. Wish the Spyder wasn't off the road for the winter months but I can always sit on it in the garage.

Mobey, it isn't a tall boy version. I'm only 5'7", although I did think about it but now that I have it, the mid rider size seems just fine. The back rest feels great and the adjustability helps a lot. It is very much like the Utopia back rests that I had on my Venture and Wing.

Thanks again,

Gary

Thank you for posting those great pictures. You have a real looker. The color combos go very well with your Cognac.

Please let us know how you like the seat after a thousand miles or so of riding.

Gary,

Thanks for posting this here. The seat really looks great on your bike. --- May have to consider adding it to our stocking lineup....;)

Best,

Dave

 Oh crap... :banghead:

I'll need another addendum; tacked onto the Christmas list! :D

Gorgeous!! :firstplace: :2thumbs:

Looks Great !!!

Awesome looking seat color. We are in the comparison stage right now for upgrading the seats on the RT's from OEM. There are so many different brands out there to choose from that one tends to get flustered as to which one will be the most comfortable.

I will watch this thread with interest regarding comments per the comfort of the ultimate seats versus the rest.

Congrats on your new seat, it looks great!
