Got a call from my dealer today said I should bring spyder in so they can change axel nuts. Has anyone else got this recall notice?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

In the dealer news sheet dated august 29,08 is a piece which states that rear axle CAPS are being sent out for retro fitting to our Spyders. Perhaps he meant that ??11.:read:

Here is the article from an August 29, 2008 BRP "What's News Bulletin" that only dealerships are supposed to get:
"Spyder Roadsters produced prior to June 2008 were shipped without rear axle caps. We have auto shipped caps in sufficient quantity to retrofit all Spyder GS units delivered to your dealership. These caps have been shipped and will arrive at your dealership within the next few days. Please install them on your customers Spyder. If more caps are required, they may be ordered directly from PAC (Right - 705501022, Left - 705501081)"
So the question is, why haven't we been contacted to let us know this information?

It appears that some "stealers" are trying to make money off the axle caps that were sent to them free of charge to be installed on customers bikes !!
