• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear tire

I just installed my new Toyo T1R tire and WOW what a smooth running, good looking and good handling tire. Noticed an immediate change for the better. Old tire wasn't worn out just had some road damage that was more than I would want to fix. Yesterday, while running down I-40 at 70 to 80 mph I suddenly realized that I do trust my Spyder and I am going to ride on. The Spyder is a marvelously designed machine that may have a few bugs that will be worked out (more than likely vendor items). I have not had any problems that were major in any way and not ready to throw the baby out with the bath water. I enjoy my Ride and plan to keep it and enjoy it. Like Firefly said: Aside from all the controversy it probably is still the safest motorcycle on the road. So just put a new Toyo tire on and it will change your life.:D:yes:

Tire pressure

I found that my Spyder wanders at 30PSI. I have mine at 40PSI now and it handles a ton better.

When I had mine installed they put 42 lbs in because that was what was on the tire (max). I thought it was to bouncy and tried 35, still a little hard, but 30 seemed to be good for me. I haven't noticed any wandering. I will continue to experiment when the rain stops here.
