• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all I'm new to this. I went to buy a 2010 can am RTS with 14,000 miles the bike looks great, but 1 issue the rear lights won't come on? When the bike is not running the rear lights come on and when you press on the brake the brake lights work?, but when we started the bike the rear lights do not work? all other lights work but no rear light or brake lights??? here is a clue while the bike is off I hit the left or right turn signal and the rear red lights just flash they won't respond to left or right they just flash????? could anyone tell me whats the problem... I thank you on this matter Tony

Tough one..!!

not knowing much on the history of this ryde, I would question if the previous owner did any wiring work especially for pulling a trailer. What other mods/farkles have been added that required tapping into the lighting/electrical system. :dontknow:

Wekcome to the spyder world and this sometimes puzzeling site. Hope they get it all to working cause if the brake lights don't work the computer will start up a series of threatening warnigs...:roflblack:

I'm with Chupaca, if it were fuses they wouldn't work at all. Something is miss wired,

I could be wrong on this, but I think there are some safety issues that the seller must have in good working order to sell and is legally responsible for.

I'm sure somebody will chime in to either agree with me, or let me know I'm just making things up.

might be a good idea to look for another spyder... I would hate to buy something knowing there are problems from the get go.. or ask the seller to take the spyder to a dealer and look at before purchasing.. seller should pay for the necessary repairs... it could turn out to be quiet expensive to correct the problems... BRP parts are pricy.. and the labor to take off panels are costly...

You may want to check the connector that connects the rear luggage compartment with the rest of the Spyder.
It's a large connector located under the frame (I think)
