• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Decided to give this a shot myself on my 09 SE5 GS, anyone know of any YouTube videos or posts with helpful tips, tricks or watch outs. Have the service manual but nothing is better than experience of others. Anyone?????

Have you actually Taken the brake assembly Off and Measured the Pad thickness?
When I Traded in my 09GS with 33,000 Miles there was LITTLE wear on the rear Pads and Little wear on the Front Pads!!!nojoke

Had service done last week and dealer said needed to be replaced, this weekend brake failure message display came on

Here's the thing..!!

the oem pads are thin to start with but very durable. I got a full set to replace mine but found that after over 30,000 miles they are still within specs. Check them. When you do take your time if you don't have a spreader a tire iron works well to push the pistons back. Remember to remove some of the fluid to allow the pistons to retract then once installed top off your fluid...

Done several

Look for the groove in the pads. No groove, replace pads. I use a #1 screwdriver, twist to spread the pads. Remove caliper, remove pins, remove pads. Use a C clamp to compress the Pistons to flush in the caliper. Put back together. Half hour job. Call if you need help. Number below. Joe
