• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RE Garmin

Now first off all, I like the easy answer so I haven't tried it yet. Yesterday we finally received my wife's Nolan 104. I have a G4 powerset from which I have always paired with a Garmin 550. Now I have a new spyder and a Garmin 660. I have paired the two headsets and will mount the second on my wife's helmet today. Yesterday I paired the G4 with the 660. My question is, when the garmin gives directions, I assume the directions will come thru the headset instead of thru the spyder speakers ---- Correct??

On your Spyders main display go into the system setting and you can choose to mix both speaker and head set or just head set or just speakers. I have mine on mixed

headset here also. I think i have had it on mixer but don't remember hearing it through bike speakers.:dontknow: Will try that again.

EDIT: Yes, when you put the setting on Mixer the gps instructions and the m3 music on the device does play through the spyder speakers.

bluetooth to headset...

When you "Enable Bluetooth" in the Garmin, the voice it sent to any paired headset. I typically have my system sound turned down, so I too have no idea weather or not the voice commands also come through the speakers... my first guess would be yes. I'll have to check that out.
