• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I will be going to the owners meeting in Durango. I usually camp and since I have never been to this event, do folks camp or do they mostly stay in hotels? For you that live near Durango, what is a good choice for a campground near the event headquarters?

Thanks

camping

Dave and Teddy go with their trailer and camp. I have gotten a spot at the KOA in Durango. Check out the Chamber of Commerce Durango Co. They will get you all KINDS of info. And there's lots of us that like to camp :thumbup:and haven't the $$$ to go to hotel/motel. Just getting to the fun there, is going to take a bite out of my budget!! BUT AM SAVING UP FOR IT!!!! See ya there. :ohyea:

I'll be camping too. Put in some reservations but can't think of where it was? Will have to look it up.
Because of the distance and I'm such a whimp, I'll be trailering to this event too.
There are some places I want to visit that require a 4x4 to access.

I'll be stopping in Santa Rosa, NM to do the famous Blue Hole. It's just off I-40.
It's a natural spring 80 feet deep with water that's 64*F year round. Brrrrr!
Stumpy got "dipped' in the outflow last Summer and he was none too happy. :yikes:

We'll be in a motor home. We have reservations at United Campground, just north of Durango with a shuttle running into town. I was attracted by the fact that the Durango Silverton RR runs right next to the campground. Should be fun to watch it come and go, and since it runs a limited schedule it won't wake us up in the middle of the night.
