• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here are links to an installation video in three parts. Hope it is helpful to those that have been asking.

Maybe I missed it,, but I still did'nt see what's being used as a power supply, and what button to turn the lights on and off. Also what's the cost on this setup? :2thumbs:

The bike's electrical system (battery) is the power supply.
The ring with the large black plastic housing rotates WITH the wheel since it is mounted on the axle. The one that is bolted on remains stationary. The contacts on the stationary unit transfer the power to the wheel unit whether it is spinning or not.
A standard 12V push-button is supplied with the kit and is just wired into the positive side of the circuit during installation. You can also add various remote controls that have multiple effects...on / off, strobe, fade, intensity, etc.
You can see pricing on our site in the "Lighted Wheel Kits" section.
