• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:sour:Any help will be appreciated. working on adding the led fender lights from TricLed with the optional turn signal module. since adding the module the signal starts normal & then speeds up. I think there had been a way to "reset" the turn signal that I had read somewhere. thanks "wired"

Yes, you can reset the hyperflash as follows (if you have a 2014 or newer machine, I believe) -- instructions from Spyderpops:
  1. Turn key on and let computer boot up; press mode to get fully up.
  2. Press and HOLD the hazard flasher button for 35 to 45 seconds
  3. Release and press again to turn hazards off
  4. Turn the key off, let the computer shut down (display now dark).
  5. Turn key on, wait for boot up (push mode if needed).
  6. Activate the left turn signal and after one blink, turn the key off (display now dark).
  7. Turn key on, wait for boot up (push mode if needed).
  8. Activate the right turn signal and after one blink, turn the key off (display now dark).
  9. Turn key back on and test the turn signals ... they should operate normally now.

All the best .... Ann

When I switched to LED turn signals on my Harley they listed a similar procedure that Ann posted to reset the flashers. They also said that you could just ignore the procedure and the bike will learn the new LED s. I didn't go through the procedure listed and everything was reset on the first ride.

This only works if you have a 2014 RT or above.

If you have below, you will need to use resistors to balance the circuit.

You forgot one important step. You must hop on one foot while doing the above.

thanks

Thank you to all whom have responded (especially Spyder-cowgirl). It is a relief for an old school wanna-be mechanic to have this kind of support. It certainly will help me save what brown/white hair I have left. I will wait till I have a few captain morgans & pepsi for the 1 footed jig...P.S. my wife & I both promised no booze on two or three wheels..thanks to all again.

I have a 2016 F3-T and was able to reset my hyperflash by following Ann's steps but I was able to stop after step 4. I did not need to do the rest. Also, lamonster has a YouTube video describing this.

mission accomplished

many thanks to spyder-cowgirl, followed detailed instructions & turn signals are back to normal..thanks to all..
