• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ramp for Spydere

I'm trying to find a ramp for loading the Spyder into my covered trailer.

Anyone find such a beast?? Where???

I did find a 50" bi-fold rated at 1200#, but they stated "Not for Trikes"???

That's cause it will fold up when loaded in the center ......(rear wheel)

I am going to be using 2 ramps and a 2x8 but my hose trailer is only 12-14 inches off the ground.

Maybe I'll break down and build a ramp door this spring. Might be a good excuse to buy a TIG:2thumbs:

Best option (IMHO) is a covered trailer with a ramp door. No clearance or weight problems, plus we can camp in it.

I like the Tig welder idea - :2thumbs: - I bought a single axle 6x10 trailer with a side door & two in the rear (like new) for $1,500 + two new tires. Couldn't pass it up. Now I need to get my Spyder into it, via a method that doesn't scare my SO...

For any others interested, I have been sent links for two options:
1. Dambach 1,500# trifold ramp FS751TFHFC for $269 + shipping from PA
2. Trike Zone 72"x64" 2,400# Quadfold, price TBD.

Both are specifically designed for trikes, so I'll add more details as I get them.

Problem with the Dambach is that it is only 51" wide whereas the Spyder has a 58" wheelbase

Before I got my current trailer, I used Harbor Freight ramps, 40 bucks a set, 2 sets, a friend of mine has them now for his Spyder. No problems with them, but they don't fold.

I've got a set of ATV ramps, and could buy another set, but that's not something my SO would ever feel comfortable with - & I'm trying to facilitate that...
