Ram Mount and Kewlmetal Bracket

Just finished installing the KewlMetal Gizmo Bracket for the RT. Pretty simple installation other than dropping the washer down around the steering column. I also bought a Ram Mount X Grip from ebay at a very reasonable price compared to the Ram Mount website.

I am posting some pictures of the final product. I am using the mount for my Iphone, GPS or anything else I want to stick in there. I will say that whatever you put in this mount, it will not budge when you are moving.

Thanks for posting. I saw one of these mounts at spyderfest and liked the setup. How is the vibration when riding. Are you able to clearly read your gps? I'm planning on ordering one but this question has been my only holdup.

GREAT mount, right?

You can hang just about anything off of that KewlMetal bracket. Some of you may have seen both an iPhone mount and a large cup holder hanging off of mine at SpyderFest.

As for the previous question, no vibration at all!


BTW, enjoyed the h*ll out of SpyderFest!

i am not getting any vibration, the only issue I had was getting the Torque wrench and the hex drive on the bolt and getting tighten to specs. 30 Pounds.

Love my Gizmo. No vibration especially right there in the middle of the bars. Here's a few things that can be done with it------
