• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ralph Wayne Backyard Nationals Rally

Got a call, out of the blue from a serious motorcyle enthusiast and rider, and quite an "experienced" one at that. He's invited the :spyder: to his little backyard motorcycle rally. It's grown from a few bikes to over 500 bikes and still being held at his neighborhood house. It's called the Ralph Wayne Backyard Nationals. (Google it!) It gets national vintage bikers and their bikes from as far as New York, California, and Florida. And it's held every year literally in his neighborhood on the first Saturday in October (this year Oct 4th.) I've been asked to showcase the Spyder.

The collection of vintage bikes displayed are from owners with unique, sometimes one-of-kind machines that are older than 25years, and Ralph goes around and awards ribbons for style, detail and oldest riders, etc. His co-ordinating committee thought the Spyder might be something not vintage but worth a showcasing. Only bikers and people that live in the neighborhood are allowed in the 3-4 blocks, and the streets are lined with enthusiasts and their machines.

So if anyone is around Kansas City area on October 4th, come by and help me share the enthusiasm we have for our Spyders. National magazines are known to visit and write articles.

P.S. Has anybody heard any more about the referral rewards program that BRP might offer us for touting their roadsters. This would be a great opportunity! See ya there!

:2thumbs: that interesting
I wonder if Scotty knows about this?, he has some classic motorcycles.
He could take his tricycle down ;)
Have fun
